Neat! How about adding double-click contexts for those new mouse modifier sections? I can see "Open region/marker properties" as a viable candidate there (for Project region and Project tempo/timesig marker sections), and of course the action list. Also a left click option would be nice, so we can tweak alt+click on region deletes it, or other modifiers could do other stuff from action list, etc etc.

This is mucho nice, but shouldn't it respect current grid/snap settings? Not all timesigs use a quarter note as a reference. As expected, this doesn't work in 6/8 and similar timesigs, it still rounds to quarter notes. It should round to 8th notes in those timesigs at least! Always follow the denominator.

Thanks for adjusting the Tab walk order in Tempo/Time Signature Marker dialog.
However, that dialog now opens with Position text input field focused. It should have the Tempo text input field focused, as it used to be!

I completely agree! It only needs to respect every possible grid/snap setting.

It looks pretty good now on High Sierra. Will check Sierra soon.

Absolutely, and adding a tempo or signature event with a mouse modifier would be a great workflow improvement.
Another thing, when I double click on a tempo or signature event, the cursor focus is always the position. It would be more logical, if the cursor would directly focus the tempo or signature field.

Envelope tooltip gets out of sync with tempo marker.
(Isn't this a little too coarse for "fine" adjustment? Zoom dependant, but even at almost full screen it's about half a bpm)

Would it be possible to add "Snap to media items edges" when dragging the marker?
Thanks,
Wyatt

Maybe not quite a weird bug, but kind of funny.
Eighth note grid is on while freehand drawing. Saved after undoing it.
edit. Shift clicking some points there does this.

But it still doesn't look so good on El Capitan (10.11.6) i.e. the window size doesn't match the background size, and the REAPER/ReaMote icons aren't positioned correctly.

Bug:
Ruler measure numbers don't respect the project start measure offset. It does show the correct number in transport bar.

Time signature not copying with this 3/8 region after edge point at same position is deleted. Licecap shows both. Undo at 0:08 after copy with edge point. Then delete edge point and copy again.
Tried something roughly similar with 4/4 measures and it didn't matter if the edge point at the same position as the time signature was deleted or not prior to copying. The signature still copied over with it either way.

Using Remove Contents Of Time selection. Not only a bad cutting of measure 6 (4/4*), but the zooming and scrolling gets real laggy afterwards. (and CPU use goes up dramatically while doing so, in comparison with how it was before the problem.)
Maybe the asterisk should come before the 4/4 so that the indication of a problem will be visible at a greater zoom level? Or some other indication?

Hmm looks good on 10.13 and 10.6 here (the window size is slightly bigger than the background, but not terribly so), so maybe we'll just blame 10.11... :/

Fair enough then I guess. Do note that the v5.62 and older DMGs always looked fine (and still do) on El Capitan.
Anyways, High Sierra is the way forward (even if it is two steps back), so I will likely update soon.

Hi,
Sorry to report this late, but the ruler is taking more verticle space no matter what I set ruler options to. It not a whole lot, but maybe I'm doing something wrong?
Went back to pre 13 and it was thinner verticly.
Anyone else?

Yeah it's maddening, the process for configuring those windows. The .DS_Store file format is utterly opaque, you have to mount a disk image, tweak it, unmount, remount, copy the file out. And apparently tweaking it on various OS versions produces different results that fail in various ways on various systems. Sigh.

Minimum here is at least 2.5 toolbar buttons height with tempos/signatures hidden, probably a little more than that. Showing one of those doesn't change the minimum size. Showing both in separate lanes brings the minimum size up to about three toolbar buttons. Main ruler itself seems a little bigger in minimum size. Minimum size here with 5.62 is about 2.2 toolbar buttons high.

Devs.. Would there be any chance to fix this bug?
Packed Theme and Backgroud Icons
Packed themes with ReaperThemeZip extension sometimes cannot read all of the images, especially toolbar.

When dragging a marker, what is it snapping to on the ruler marks? Edit: (If the grid is turned off)
If I have my ruler set to hours mins frames, and zoom in to see the frame marks on the ruler, when I drag the marker, shouldn't it snap to the frame marks?
Thanks,
Wyatt

Yeah, been there, done that...
FYI: I have just installed reaper570_x86_64.dmg, and the 64-bit version looks better than the 32-bit version of the installer (the icons are correctly positioned, yay!). I guess most Mac users are running the 64-bit version anyway nowadays, but just saying.

There is a regression with markers and snapping since this release.
If in the snap settings, I uncheck "Snap to project sample rate", the markers are still snapping to project sample rate.
In 5.62 it worked correctly.
