ok I'll bite...

No.

But if you have a MacBook and an iPad, you can make like a remote desktop viewer out of your iPad, and some apps even let you hear the audio from the MacBook on your iPad (or iPhone).

HOWEVER... there's a delay like about 3 seconds if you are using your iPad to both see and hear what's on your MacBook.

So what I've done in the past...

I use my iPhone or iPad to control the MacBook remotely, but NOT TOO FAR AWAY so I can hear the sound from the MacBook itself, so I don't need to worry about streaming the sound, only to blast the monitors (or maybe use BlueTooth speakers).

In particular, I've tried using "screen sharing" feature of the MacBook so you can VNC from another computer or from the iPhone or iPad with an app like iSSH or PocketCloud, for example, or the "Remote Tap" app is cool too.
As I said before, I was near the MacBook so I could hear the sound from the monitors, not stream the sound.

YYMV, it's not a perfect setup.

use Touchosc on the Ipad and hexler's osculator on the Mac (osx only)

the konkrete's Performer might make a cool option instead of touchosc

Of course reaper will work on an i-pad.

You just need to hack it and install windows, osx or linux.

Kind regards

You answer is an app called air display.
I made a video of iPad reaper possibilities a while back. Check it out:

You were probably joking, but in case you weren't...iPads don't have x86 compatible processors. So Windows and OS-X are out of the question. Linux might be a remote possibility, but even then you could not run something like Reaper, at least not in any manner manner resembling "efficient", as the x86 CPU would have to be emulated, and I am not even sure how is WINE's support for such emulation in any case.

A $300 netbook with Win 7 WILL run Reaper natively AND kick an iPads butt into the ditch.

I have two uses for my Acer Aspire ONE netbook as far as Reaper goes;

1. Neat little mixing/MIDI'ing travel machine. I've ran ~30 tracks of 24/44.1 audio with a hefty load of FX from an external USB 2.0 "Pocket drive" for mixing on the road. *Forget convo reverbs though... not enough muscle to run them effectively.

2. Remote viewing/controlling of the main DAW machine when in the studio.

I love it!

Using air display are you just controlling your DAW computer not actually running reaper on the ipad, i watched the video and i noticed u said run back to the mixer to disable fx or something which led me to think your tracking through some sort of an interface into another computer and using ipad+air display to control that computer???

Looks sweet though and seems to run amazingly id try it if i had an ipad.... soon though
