Default Render Priority

It would be nice to be able to set the renderer priority. I usually render very long tracks(hours) and sometimes want to use the pc, but rendering slows everything down.
Maybe a simple checkbox (low priority) on the render dialog would suffice?

Certain things get really slow such as video while reaper is rendering.

It already exists: "Offline Render (Idle)".

But what kind of idle is that? Is the rendering in Reaper stalled whenever anything happens on the system (scrolling web pages, watching Youtube videos etc)?

It likely just decreases the thread's priority...

EDIT: Looks like it sets the priority to THREAD_PRIORITY_IDLE vs THREAD_PRIORITY_ABOVE_NORMAL for regular offline renders (behavior observed by setting a breakpoint at SWELL's SetThreadPriority on Linux).

Likely idle time or %idle time on the processor since that is a queryable variable on the OS, then based on that adjust thread priority.
