Default "Adjust Media Item Volume by Dragging" Quirk!

Why does it let me raise de original volume of an item when I have the "item volume knob" option chosen and with "top edge of media item" you can only lower de original volume.. am I doing something wrong?? is this a bug??

cheers

PS - those options are at Prefs->Appearance->Media

If you are using the top edge for level changes, hold down the shift key, then you can "drag" the edge upward.
