Default Considering switching over to iMac

How good is this for audio and video

21.5-inch iMac 3.6GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 with Retina 4K display
256SSD


What will and wont work?

Currently have a Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 version 2.....will that work?

Thanks for your input...am totally new to this

Should be fine, but you'll probably run out of hard drive space pretty quick.

If you are on Windows and switching to Mac for Reaper, don't, Reaper runs better, themes better, has better media browser etc etc etc on Windows, stay there if you want pound for pound, only buy the iMac if you have specific MacOS needs, I love my iMac/MBP/Mac Pro but Windows is simply better for Reaper.

No issue with 2i4 here with El capitan, imac late 2007 (yes 2007 not 2017 !)
