Default VST MIDI INPUT RECORDER

hi,
i face a problem with VSTi named tonespace (creating chords),

where i can play the vst-internal keyboard and the generated chords are passed to a following vst in the chain,

but reaper cannot record those triggers in midi.

so the idea would be to record the midi-output of the vsti to a vst after it, which could route those midi-signals (here : chrods as midi) to a defined reaper track.

does anybody know a vst-midi-recorder like this with free vst output routing?

thanx

edit: first possible solution found : midi looper

Hi, this works for me.

In tonespace 2.5:

Midi in: Midi track
Channel: All
Midi out: VST Host
Channel 1

On reaper track:

Record: output: (MIDI)

It's been a long time since this post, but I do it a little differently, I'll explain it in case it helps someone.

I use tonespace to generate chords with a single key on the controller, basically I record a midi melody that tonespace converts into chords, triads, quadriads, sevenths, etc.

I have a track with tonespace as the only plugin configured like this:
Tonespace
Midi in --> VST Host
channel 1
Midi out --> Midi Through port 0
channel 2

Track Route
Track 1 --> track 2

Track 2
Ready to record
in FX --> Midi Through port 0
channel 2
in --> audio or midi
FX The plugin you want to play the recorded chords. These can be worked comfortably on the piano roll

For me this work fine
