Thanks! This appears to have resolved any issues I had with bridged embedded x86 GUIs.

Sorry, still no dice most of the time:

If a GUI refresh was added directly after the GUI is opened, that should fix it. As you can see, anything that causes the GUI to refresh, like a meter or moving the GUI around the screen fixes the problem.

Hmm is this different than 5.201? I believe you'll see that behavior there as well

It's been like this forever. (I've used REAPER for about 4 years) I've actually reported it a few times.

Yeah, IMO it's specific to a small subset of plug-ins, and isn't something I've been able to figure out. The workaround is to not embed the bridged UIs of those plug-ins.

Sorry for the OT post, but I'm curious how you're achieving the dark FX window. It must be a Windows theme? Which one are you using? Thanks!

But I have that SQ8L plugin here too and it doesn't have the vanishing GUI issue. Nor do I recall having that issue with Bootsy/VOS plugins (don't use them anymore). So weird!

Maybe it depends on the graphics processor?

Would it hurt adding another plugin redraw command after the GUI is displayed? Since obviously dax is showing after moving the window it draws it correctly.

I've also been having tons of GUI display issues lately with certain plugins (Melda, Replika XT etc). I bridged them since they had caused crashes in the past and I didn't want them to also crash Reaper.

I just assumed it was a problem with a nVidia driver update (rolled back and did a clean install of a previous driver), but good to know it's being looked into....

(BTW, sometimes selecting a different preset would cause the GUI to display properly, since at least in the case of Melda MXXX and Replika XT, the interface can change quite a bit depending on the settings.)

Justin, could you please also take a look at Slate Digital and Eiosis plug-ins? Their VST3 versions show messed up UIs here when loading them for the first time (you have to load and then close them to see them properly). I'd appreciate it.

Default notation view problem

Hi I'm still getting squares/rectangles in notation view, I've narrowed it down to the font, it refuses to install claiming it's not a valid font, even with manual install no luck...any ideas what could be causing this?
win 10 x64
reaper x64

Odd. Can you try this font and see if it installs: http://1014.org/_/Bravura.zip

(It won't fix REAPER but it will give us useful information -- if it does install, then I think we can probably fix)

Hi Justin

Thanks for checking this one out...

Sorry, this one refuses to install as well :-(
message again: does not appear to be a valid font

Weird, I haven't had any issues at all with fonts...

If it's of any use: On my dual monitor setup (one graphic card), I have this happening
on one monitor (Hdmi-tv) and not on the other (Dvi-lcd 17")...
