Suggestions for spatial/ambisonic multi-tap delay?
Does anyone know of or could recommend options for ambisonic multi-tap delay plugins? Ideally with spatially panned taps supporting HOA? (I’m already familiar with IEM Dual Delay and BRS O3A Spatial Delay--which are great but not quite what I’m imagining.)
In other words, this could be a mono or stereo input that encodes delay lines into spatialized outputs--though I could also imagine the taps "rotating" an ambisonic input, too, similar to BRS/O3A Spatial Delay but with multiple taps. I haven't found anything like that out there yet... Does anyone know of anything like this? Or (if the devs happen to read this) if it were possible to give ReaDelay the option of outputting its taps as discreet multichannel outputs, we could then spatialize each tap with another encoder plugin... My ideal tool would do both delay and spatialization in one interface, though. |

In case you don't know, reasurroundpan does have a per-channel delay feature.
(when initially composing this reply I accidentally hit "infraction" instead of "reply", sorry, please ignore any notification you might have gotten about it!) |

Hahaha. I was confused for a moment when I logged in. "Oh no! What did I do??"
Thanks for that info about ReaSurroundPan--I wasn't aware of that. I'm looking for more of a "creative" delay with feedback, etc., but still glad to know about this for situations where it might come in handy. (FYI I also left a post for "Multichannel ReaDelay" in the feature request forum.) |
