Default Anyone with Win10 ?

If you can try this wma project, just set it to loop and leave it playing, some tracks drop out and I get a red flashing down on the clock.
I want to make sure it's not just on my end.

If you right click an item > Source properties it should be using:
Windows Media Foundation v2 decoder

Hi MusoBob
The project isn't working properly for me either.
I also have other decoders.

some items have:
Using VLC decoder (v3.0.x)
Audio: 44100hz, 32bps, 2ch, WMAP

other have:
Audio: 44100Hz 2ch 32bps
Using DirectShow decoder
Audio: 44100hz, 32bps, 2ch, WMA2

Audio is delayed at the beginning of some items.

Do I still have to install "Windows Media Foundation v2 decoder"?

Reaper 6.56

You need one of the pre-release versions that have Windows Media Foundation codec wmf.

You need to let it play for a while, just let it loop.

Red flashing? Maybe your buffer/block size is too small?

Only tested using onboard sound, did 10 loops, closed REAPER, restarted, did another 10 loops, No red flashing, didn't hear any dropouts, seems to play fine here.

Intel i7-3770 - Win10_x64 (latest)
(project on WD Black 1TB hard drive)
Onboard Realtek (speaker out: 24bit, 44.1k)
REAPER v5.56+dev0503,
WASAPI - Exclusive mode
256 samples/ 44.1k / 16bit

RT CPU: 1.3% to 1.7%
RT-longest-block: 0.26ms/5.80ms (hold)
RT xruns: 0 - Media xruns: 0

Thanks for testing guys, it's fixed in reaper656+dev0504 and is now working with an i5 Win10 and 1.9G Celeron Win7.
