Default Any way to fine tune midi encoder mapping?

Hi. I wanna try my midi controller with fx/synths plugins in Reaper. The controller is basically 16 endless encoders, I'm using it in relative mode (63/65 or 1/127).

Assigning an encoder to a plugin knob works fine but by default a knob works in opposite direction and scaling (or rather "sensitivity") is too much. And so I'd like to tweak how Reaper interprets incoming signals (depending on what plugin I'm assigning them to).

Here's midi assign window from Logic. Is there anything similar in Reaper?

Hi, for the direction, you might have to play with the CC mode drop-down in the MIDI/OSC Learn dialog to find the correct setting for your encoder. Other than that, I suggest taking a look at the ReaLearn plugin which offers much more fine-tuning options for mapping controllers (https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=183143) as well as feedback functionality (incl. text feedback for LCDs etc.) and can also be used in the Monitor FX chain for project-independent use. I also found when using ReaLearn, the sensitivity for knobs works much better compared to Reapers own learning function.
