Copying of midi items

Hello guys,

I'm using easy drummer and have a question regarding the copying of midiitems. When putting a pattern into reaper and dragging right corner of it, the item gets repeated. But when I edit the pattern, the changes are applied to all the copys, too. I would like to edit each copy individually. Is that possible?

Yes,

What you are doing at the moment is dragging out the loop into several repeats.

To get separate clips:
-- select the clip by clicking it
-- copy it by pressing Ctrl and dragging to a new position
-- repeat for as many separate clips as you want.

After editing any of them, you can still drag out the clip to repeat the pattern.

Or just drag it out like you do now and split left and right in the places you want to edit, so you edit a separate item.
