Default Audo interface problem

Hey Guys!

I have a Lexicon Alpha 2 X 2 plugged direct into the USB port of my laptop.

Problem is, whenever I start up the laptop, Lexicon does not switch on.

I have to unplug the USB, plug it in again and then it works fine.

A liveable annoyance at best, but any solutions?

Default might help....

I had some interface issues and here's an answer I got:

There is also a setting in the USB controller section of the Device manager, right click on 'USB Root hub', select Properties, then select the Power management tab. Turn off the 'let Windows turn off this device to save power' option.

Once I turned off the above options on BOTH USB root hubs, my interface (saffire 6) comes on right away instead of having to un/replug it.

don't know if it will work, but it did for me!

Thanks KW. I did try that; I have 7 root hubs showing in Device Manager but they all have the 'let Windows turn off this device to save power' turned off.

EDIT: Thanks bluzkat - your message intercepted my reply.
