Default "Record output (latency compensated)" gets delayed (SOLVED)

Audio recorded with "Record output (latency compensated)" gets delayed (by the driver offset information and the manual offset) when "Auto adjust for recording latency" is activated.

This shouldn't happen! Activated "Auto adjust for recording latency" only should correct/delay the recorded audio from hardware input(s), not the audio from track-output(s)!

justin, don't you agree with it? at the moment i always have to disable "Auto adjust for recording latency" when 'internally' recording tracks in reaper ...

Use the non latency-compensated mode. Record output (latency compensated) is for when you're recording an input that would then be processed on the fly...

but doesn't this disable the latency compensation for plugins too?

the (latency compensation) switch is for record latency compensation, not plug-in delay compensation.

PDC will still be enabled (I believe, and my testing confirms), as far as the recorded output is concerned.
