I did the lead guitar part on this... over a scratch-track from a collab being done over on the HR forum. Reaper's easy editing made editing the part down from two takes a quick job, and the "right click" pitch change function let me easily raise a couple flat notes and salvage good phrases that would otherwise have been scrapped.

Just checked it and it's working. The server might have bogged down for the several minutes when I was just uploading a large wav file. It's working now. Hope you have a listen.

Very nice take on a classic

I think the mix could use a bit of work (for me, the vocal stood out a little and your guitar doesn't feel like its in quite the same place as the other stuff (but it is a collab after all!).. and let me add that I struggle with a vocal and a single instrument, so I have no right to say anything really!.

Nice playing all round though! Drums are nice too.. real drums?

Thanks Alistair. Dunno about the drums, but I'll find out.

EDIT: Alistair, I found out the drums are DSFH (Drumset from Hell), not real drums. To all - though I kind of like the gtr part, with the rest of the mix being somewhat of a scratch track it's kind of silly to post at this point. I'm gonna take down the original link until the mix is done. Better to put up a finished version later!
