Project Render Metadata deleted

I haven't been able to determine the steps to reproduce this issue but occasionally the metadata entered in the Project Render Metadata window is deleted. Looking inside the RPP file, the metadata is not present. I do know that it happens without changing any render settings. I'll try to narrow down when it occurs but I don't have any clues at this point. I do often use the "File: Add project to render queue, using the most recent render settings".

Which version of Reaper do you use on which operating system?

I'm using reaper613_x64 on Windows 10 Version 2004.

I'm using Reaper v6.13/x64 rev 2252ae on Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 (OS Build 18363.1016)

What I can say is that the <RENDER_METADATA .....> just disappears.



I got this from two Reaper backup files - the left shows the existence of meta-data while it gets removed in the file on the right.

I've attached both files in case that helps?

The loss of the RENDER_METADATA in the project file is the same for me. I haven't been able to nail down a specific trigger yet.

I'm following this thread, but any hints as to the type of action that leads to the metadata being lost would be helpful!

Is there any chance to add a action logging feature to Reaper which can be enabled in such cases?
It logs all actions to a logfile and when the problem arises, we could send you the logfile.
Would be helpful especially for the edgecasy issues like this one, that are hard to get.

Ah actually I think I see why this might be. Hopefully fixing!
