Default Negative space

Hi All

I seem to have done something to create an area of negative space in the Arrange area of MIDI Editor.

Does anyone know what I may have done - and how to rectify the situation, please?

Many thanks in advance for any advice.

Does it always happen, every time you open a midi object? What happens if you move the mouse wheel up or down? Often, if you go from a midi object to another, the zooming and cursor position acts funny. This is a problem many times discussed here and doesn't seem to be fixed like in never.

Another question, does your project start at 0 and start measure is 1 (project settings to see that)?

I'm not sure what the problem is TBH. What you're seeing as "negative space" is just what's before (or outside) the midi part open in the editor.

Or am I missing something here? Hard to tell with a down-scaled screenshot.

Is the negative space effected by switching themes?

Hi Guys - Thanks for the responses.

Just opened several past projects & Yes, it is there on all of them.

The space enlarges slightly, collapses to a minimum & then enlarges again - cyclically as I move wheel in one direction.

Project is set to start at 1.

Yes, I know but I'd like to set it at 1 as I'm sure it used to be.

Sorry about that - don't know how to enlarge the screenshot after I've taken it with the 'Grab' facility!

Just tried switching themes - no change, the problem is still there.
