Default REAPER for monitoring audio levels and trigger MIDI

Hey guys,

is there a simple way in a live environment:
- to monitor audio levels of one or multiple channels
- trigger MIDI events based on level over threshold for x msecs (trigger #1) and below a certain threshold (trigger #2)

Is this possible? Do you know a plugin that can help here?
Important is the customisability with attack times or even multiple channels in one trigger (with different thresholds).

Thanks for your help!

That is correct, but it can - as far as I know - not handle multiple channels as in setting different values and attack times for each. Probably this could be done on a different channel with MIDI values and conditions (I don't know that, just thinking out loud).
The problem with ReaGate is, that the max attack times are too low for my use case. I would need more than 500 ms attack or more than 1 sec hold.

You can use multiple instances of ReaGate in a single track and use pin routing to hook each to one channel.

You can just type the value you want, if the faders' range is too small.

Ok, maybe this could work. I will try it. Thanks!
