Default Did Next Take behavior change?

I used to comp vocals, breaking an item into multiple takes, then I'd duplicate the track, select all the items and hit "Next Take" and it'd increment all the takes by one (3/8 would become 4/8, 8/8 would become 1/8 etc). This was a quick way to get an easy "double". But lately I've noticed all the items get set to the same take number. Did something change? Did I hallucinate this? Is there any way to make it work like that again?

Maybe you have all the items selected? The actions depend on that.

Thank you, EpicSounds!

For anyone looking at this thread in the future, the solution was to start using the "Cycle items to next/previous take" instead of "Switch items to next/previous take" actions.
