Default Anyone Have Midi Notes Hanggin?

I'm playing Kontakt Scarbee Mark I and when I'm really waiting I'll notice 1 note hanging up like the sustain got stuck on just 1 note ya now what I mean?

I believe the same with other samples like the White Grand in Kontakt but not sure.

Anyone else having some midi hanggin issues? Mayb it's a Kontakt thing.

Thanks,
SEA

Nope.
Have you checked your midi keyboard?

It's a new Yamaha 88 But perhaps when I smack it really hard
(I have heavy hands) it might cause it to happen.

I think it's the same note (not sure). I'll watch the next time or 2 and see.

Put ReaControlMIDI first in the chain and switch its log on.
What I'd expect to see (if it was your keyboard) is a missing note off.
Again, if it was the keyboard, all VSTis would be affected.

The last time I got a hanging note in Kontakt it was a PEBKAC error (I'd trimmed away a sustain off message after recording, doh).

I don't have the white grand here to test, but the Scarbee works just great.

Keep us posted how you get on. Steve

yea, I see it [hear it] once in a while. But NEVER use Kontact. My suspicion is that it results from bad interactions between conflicting VSTs. When I changethem, or change the relative order between them (for two VSTis on the same track), it might go away. Also I have found that if a MIDI note is a problem, changing its length or velocity can make it go away.

All of this has the erratic character of the quirky interaction between this and that programmer.
