Default Problem with non-contiguous track selection

Hi.

I just noticed that when I have "Mouse clicking on volume/pan faders and track buttons change track selection" ticked in the Mouse preferences, selecting non-contiguous tracks with Command-left click doesn't work. Shift-left click still does contiguous selection ok.

Anyone else see this, or is there a reason why it happens?

Cheers.

Bill.

edit: using 3.35

It does work on my system.

Model Name: MacBook Pro
Model Identifier: MacBookPro4,1
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
Processor Speed: 2.6 GHz
Number Of Processors: 1
Total Number Of Cores: 2
L2 Cache: 6 MB
Memory: 4 GB
Bus Speed: 800 MHz
Boot ROM Version: MBP41.00C1.B03
SMC Version (system): 1.27f2
Serial Number (system): W882008G1SH
Hardware UUID: F421FCE8-9482-52F2-AF60-ED7476302A0D
Sudden Motion Sensor:
State: Enabled

Running Reaper v3.36pre3

Perhaps try the pre-release to see if that helps?

I still have other issues with track selection, though, as it has no affect upon item grouping for editing purposes:

Hmmm, pretty sure this is buggy. I tried it now on two different machines, one running Tiger, the other Leopard (10.5.4) and three different Reaper releases - 3.35, the 3.36 pre4 and rolling back to 3.13. Same problem with each version. If you have the select track when clicking buttons/faders etc preference active (in Preferences/Editing/Mouse) you can't make non-contiguous track selections using Command-click.

Could someone else check this ensuring they have that preference selected?

Cheers.

Bill.

Yes, I do have that selected in preferences.

Right. Thanks Jas...guess I'll just live with it. Strange that it's occurring on two totally different systems though.
