Help With Rewire

Hello Everyone im New to the Forum as You Can See
Just Downloaded Reaper v2.006 im pretty new to this whole rewire
stuff mainly before i just worked out of project5 V2.5

so i open Reaper > add a track > hit the Fx Tab> Hit the Rewire toggle> then rewire Project5> it opens up and plays the sounds through Reaper im Just Not Able to Record Anything!?

What am i doing wrong here ?

i got it i didnt have the midi channel selected..doh!!!
