Default Is there something like this in Reaper???

The midi tools shown in this video:

https://youtu.be/0Eb2OciOa9c

...are really great helpers for turning chords into melodies

Is there something similar in Reaper...
I know, there are some arpeggio presets but I didnīt find anything similar to FLSīs midi tools...

Any idea???

Check those great scripts from Kawa. They can achieve pretty much similar results. Also strumming is natively implemented.

As you are a talented developer for scripts and this may have caught your attention, there is one very important thing to consider...

The most powerful feature of these tools of FL Studio is the ability to create your own patterns for rythm and pitch, which are basically FLSīs own format for midi files, so just note data...

I donīt know, if there is a way to do this with scripting, that you can lay down midi files with a special synthax "as patterns" in a special folder the script is looking at... but this is the way FL Studio works and itīs very powerful...

Here on the bottom is i.e. the guide for making patterns for the Arpeggiator and Chop:
http://www.image-line.com/support/fl...arpeggiate.htm

In this guide are mentioned the colours for notes... these colours are used in FLS basically for the 16 midi channels, so these patterns are working with midi channel 1,5,9 and 13 to define special functions...

Yes, they are already a great starting point, but are lacking the custom pattern funcionality as I described above, which is the biggest strength of them respectively the ease of use...

Hey Trancit i meant like the functions in your video example from FL which are similar to Kawa's scripts but also adds pattern functionality.
