Keeping TAG DATA

Hello

I currently working with single WAV files in Reaper and each wav file is already tagged with Title, Year Artist, Cover Art etc,

Yet the moment I load the file in reaper and render I lose all the important tag data in the newly saved file

Can we please have an option to add the initial files tag data to the end of the rendered file, so the newly rendered saved file has the original tag data including cover art

Please NOTE this is for Wav Files! and all other media files that can be tagged, Reaper is a fantastic program, but it really should not discard important data associated with music files when it renders to a new file.

Which of the to edge cases do you use?

a)
* source: master mix/stems/render matrix
* rendering a single track
* rendering a single media item within that track

b)
* source: media items
* only one media item selected

a) is IMHO possible but tricky but is possibly not an expected bahaviour for everyone.
b) should be fairly straightforward to implement and will make sense to most users.
