Question: Font size in Rado VOX
Hi there,
how can I implement the possibility to change the insert/send font size in mixer tracks? As you can see here http://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=109744 the vsti's and fx' are a bit bigger.
I had a look in the theme editor, but there was no mixer-font size which could be changed
Anyone has a good hint for me to realize that?

Not really sure, but the font may be designated within the theme file with the "walter" theming code. The theme editor does have these walter fonts listed though (walter font 1-8) so you may try changing those to so if it is one of them.

I have absolutely no single idea about WALTER'ing, so could someone give a clear advice how to do such things? Or a tutorial for me how to add this?

Well all I'm saying is just that he might have set the insert/send text to use, for example, "walter font 1" or (2-8), and you can change these fonts in the theme editor. Find the walter fonts in the theme editor and start changing them and see if the fonts that you have in mind change.

So, I can change walter font 1-8, but it doesn't affect the insert/send font size.
So I guess I have to edit the walter theme textfile!? But how? I guess I need to add something there.
The theme editor is not helping at this stage!

No, I read your post. Have you tried editing "WALTER font 1" (through 8) in the theme editor? That is not clear. You do not need to go into the txt file.

I just tried it myself. You can change the insert font by changing "walter font 2," and you can change the send font by changing "volume/pan label font."

Other way around... insert fx with volume/pan label font.
I didn't recognize that before (because of the name). However, if I set it higher, the volume label font will increase also - looks odd. How can I change it, so insert/send FX font can be changed seperately!?
Furthermore I'd like to increase margins a bit... just bigger font won't help here :/
Oh man, now it's going much deeper as I wanted before

No, it's as I said here at least. Inserts (your fx) are changed with "walter font 2," sends with "volume/pam label font."
Looks like you can't change the send font separately without editing the theme file. Same for margins. I'm even not entirely sure you could change the send font by editing the theme file. That's no small thing. Check out the stickies in this subforum for instructions on theme editing but you may just have to live with it. Or maybe mention it in the reaborn 2 thread to see if he will change it.

Hmm, I think so
I mean insert/send fx slot in usual mixer tracks (not master mixer track).
Using Rado VOX, installed it like it should... using Mac atm, but have it installed on Win too, but I didn't looked there yet.

Yes, and exactly these I want to change.
INSERTS font size can be changed with volume/pan font size, no joke!
Do you have the latest version? =D
However, I got the idea,... I have to work on the files to change it to my needs anyway... :/

Weird, checked again and it's still the other way round here. I just downloaded the theme to try to work this out so it is the latest. Oh well, a mystery.

Ok, one more question... hopefully last one:
When I extract .ReaperThemeZip file, and just zip it again without changes, it won't work... I can load it, but Reaper doesn't recognize the file and everything f*cks up (= looks odd).
In theme guide I didn't found anything related to "How to pack the file" :/
Help, please...

Theme files have two components, there is the .reapertheme file which contains the settings that are set in the theme editor, and there is a folder that contains the images that are used for the theme. Put both of these in a zip file and rename the extension to ".reaperthemezip" instead of zip, and then reaper will recognize it. Does that help?
