Default Concurrent Loops In Reaper

I asked about this a long time ago and answer was "CAN'T Do It"... wondering if anything has changed.... Reaper 4.3, Win 11, Can concurrent loops be run in the same project.
.
My workaround has been.... Record a measure and Stretttttch it out forever to get multiple repeats.
.

Best to all,
Steve

Your question isn't very clear and you'll likely have to explain better about what you are trying to do.

In reaper you can create unlimited tracks, create loops on any track, and even have multiple loops play simultaneously on the same track (free item positioning).

Whatever you are trying to do, you can almost certainly do it in REAPER.

Beautiful, before, I was told NO but that was a while back.... I am on 4.3 and if that will run multiple loops, I am a happy camper!

Best,
Steve

More than one track looping at the same time.

Default Setting Tempo Fun

I love Reaper.... I do

I spent the afternoon trying to change tempo on one track (there is only one track in my project)

I watched videos, I read the well written manual, all to no avail...

One tiny track with a drum set to repeat.... It hates me.... it will not allow me to change tempo.... Has ANYONE seen this?

Best,
Steve

any particular reason you are stuck at 4.3?
If you have a licence for v4 then you can go up to at least 4.78 (available on the old versions page of Reaper downloads)

can you explain what you mean by "tempo of one track"?
Tempo is a global project setting, are you referring to the playrate or timebase of a particular item?
What have you tried & what is / isn't happening?

if by concurrent you mean multiple playheads playing different length loops&different bpms
The answer is yes... however trying to keep track of them on the same screen is a different story.
The way in which this is achieved is across multiple projects
the lengths even the bpms can be different if you wanted...
the loop length can be set differently
however you can only see one project at a time... this is the only issue

Controlling both aspects of loops(across projects) can be achieved using realearn&midi controller with some custom actions and configuration.
Using realearn probably wont work on the older version of reaper you have(im unsure)

But what you are asking is possible!!
The settings in the jpg needs to be ticked to make it workable.. but again whether it will work in the current v4 of reaper you have is another story!
