Default Post-render crash

Three times in the last 15 minutes I've had Reaper (1.49) crash after rendering (successfully) an mp3 file. Other vectors: rewired to Reason, which stayed in memory -- but then Reason just about never crashes. I think this happened once before with an earlier version (did I report it?) but never this much.

Just tried a couple of times (waves) and everything was fine. So I did the same file as an mp3 again; the same. It's that most maddening of maladies: the random one. I'll try to recreate and/or let you know if/when it happens again.
Thanks.

I have also had issues with crashing just after rendering, however this is for rendering both wav and mp3 (I THINK). It is not reproducable though, as I just have to restart the program and render and everything renders fine. I'm not Rewiring anything.

Happens here too, from time to time. Rendering to .wav.
Nothing fancy, no rewiring, just any standard project using a bunch of random plugs...
Of course, it chooses to crash only when I forgot to save my last changes to my project before rendering
