Default Track Color Suddenly Appears

I recorded a vocal track on a project I've been working on for a while, and for some reason the track waveform data is magenta. I have no idea why this would be.

Anyone know why this would happen?
Thanks.

So your recording track had no custom color before the recording? And you did only one take < multiple takes can be autocolored?

Thanks for your reply. Yeah, I've been working on a project, and two of the tracks for some reason have color in the audio waveform. I did not assign any colors, or change any preferences for color of any kind. I did add track colors to OTHER tracks, but they are either track folders or dedicated reverb tracks. Are you referring to re-recording over a spot? I typically don't do that, but may have done so by accident. Would that apply a track color like that? Otherwise I don't understand why two tracks have two different colors in their waveforms and everything else is normal.
