Default AXE FX - No Sound

Hey Reaper Nation,

I'm receiving a signal but I can't get any live playback while recording. My Input Monitoring buttons are engaged and Track is armed. It's probably something simple with my Audio Output (maybe drivers?) but I can't figure it out.

I'm currently using the demo version of Reaper.
Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the Reaper Forums!

In case you haven't already found them, make sure to check out the User Guide (https://www.reaper.fm/userguide.php) and Video Section (https://www.reaper.fm/videos.php) in general.

How are your monitoring audio: via speakers or headphones (and where are they connected to)?

If you want to use a different audio device (than the Axe-FX) for the audio output at the same time, you'll need to make an Aggregate Audio Device of both audio devices and select the Aggregate Audio Device in Reaper: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202000

I'm using external speakers into the headphone jack on my Mac.
Attached is another screenshot of my screen

When I pull up Garageband I'm getting live feedback during play.
Output: System Setting
Input : Axe FX

OK, then as already mentioned above:

1) Make an Aggregate Audio Device with both devices (Axe FX + built-in output) according to the Apple link in my previous post.
2) Then select this Aggregate Device as Audio Device in Reaper ...

.. and if necessary:
3) Check if the appropriate inputs (Axe FX) of the Aggregate Device are selected as Track input.
4) Check if the appropriate outputs (built-in output) of the Aggregate Device are used as outputs for the Master Track.

Works like a charm. I created the Aggregate Device but forgot to select the (built-in output) for the master track.

Thanks!
