Default Noise gen with envelope/MIDI note trigger?

I'm in need of noise that can be triggered by my keyboard and obeys a volume envelope. Can't figure out how to make one in Reaper. Help?

Maybe make a wav of the required noise using a JS noise generator, then load the wav into RS5K and save track as template?

Lots of Synthesizer VSTs would be able to do this (e.g. Tyrell N6). In the mixer section bring up the noise fader and put all the others down to zero and use the VCA envelope to control your volume envelope.

Yeah i thought about using FM8. I was hoping for something that was small and entirely dedicated to just noise and envelope. Reaper has noise generators but i can't figure out how to get the envelope on it and trigger it with my MIDI keyboard.

The Reaper software itself does not have noise generators. All these are plugins, some coming with the distribution, some can easily be added / installed.

Those are the noise generators i was referring to. Sorry for the misunderstanding. With the JS noise generator plugins i cannot figure out how to have them respond to an envelope. They just continuously make noise, but i want it to be triggered by my midi keyboard follow the curves of an envelope.

I figured it out. Not sure why i didn't think of it before. The envelope CC output (by default) is CC20, so i assigned CC20 to the noise generators volume. Oof.
