Default Ninjam vs Jamtaba server?

Is there any specific reason I should run the official Ninjam server instead of the one included with Jamtaba? Thanks!

Welcome to the Reaper forums !

What do you mean by "the official NinJam Server" ? There are several publicly available NinJam servers, and you can set up your own, if you like to.

JamTaba will attempt to take control of your router so you don't have to know how to -- but it may fail, unless you know how to set up your router to allow it to take control.

With ninjamsvr, you need to know how to set up your router, as it won't try to take over. It leaves you to understand how to set up a computer as a server.
