Looking for a script writer (Willing to pay good money!)
Hi all,
I'm looking for someone who can build a sampler just like Logic's sampler. Meaning:
1. When I add a sample to it - it opens up a new dedicated (nested) track to correspond to that sample.
2. When I play on the "main" sampler track - the samples are arranged keyboard style (1 key for each sample).
3. If I record a midi clip on the "main" sampler track - I wish to have an action to explode that item to the dedicated track (each note/sample to it's correct nested track).
4. When I select one of the nested tracks (the track that correspond to a specific sample - I can play that sample stretched across the keyboard.
Is there a person here that could do that pleaaaase???

I may have somehow misunderstood you, but as I understand it, reasamplomatik can also do all this along with other tools

Auto record arm solve first issue.
ReaPack/mpl_Export selected item to RS5k instance on same track as chromatic source.lua solve second one.
The last one is lack of reaper's terminology so probably I didn't get you right.

If you need to select a track and start playing it on the keyboard, you can probably use the built-in sampler together with scripts like mine - Script: mrtnz_toggle open and hide vkb (input - on).lua.
by the way, it doesn't always work stably, but the point is that by setting the recording and monitoring modes to auto (or the script will do it for you), selecting a track (and if it contains VSTI type) it makes it active for recording and playback from a midi keyboard/the usual keyboard.
and also I may have misunderstood you.

Maybe I didn't explain myself completely..
When I arm record one of the "child" tracks I can play only the sample assigned to it, and only on the note that it's assigned to. I can not play that sample stretched across the keyboard, which is what I'm looking for.

You don't need a script for this. Set the "Mode" in RS5K to "Note (Semitone shifted)". If you want it to be permanent, save this setup as the default preset. Job done.

Thanks, though I know I can do that, but then I lose the ability to play all the samples "drum style" on the main RS5K track. I want to be able to do that when the main track is selected, but when I select one of the "child" tracks - to then be able to play the corresponding sample stretched across the keyboard (Semitone shifted, like you said)
