Hmmm. Hauptwerk's VSTlink. I bought a V4 basic license in Summer and then they had the guts to remove basic edition for V5 making us either move to a subscription model (yuck) or pay $370 for a perpetual upgrade to "Lite" (no way given my original license cost less!). To rub salt into the wounds, any encrypted instruments I had my eye on would no longer be compatible with V4 given the move away from HASP. Fun times. Totally useless plugin along with the HASP key that is now probably in a landfill somewhere. A niche product just became even more niche.

I would have to go look at what I have that have never been used, plus any freebies that are gathering dust should not really count.
I`ll be back... Can`t believe one of your clickbaits is actually interesting, Woogish!
I do remember that years ago (way back in my Cakewalk days) some wag produced as a joke a "Digital silence" VST plug-in, available for free demo download. This was not a noise reduction job, by the way, but supposed to run on portions of a track where there was no recording.
And there were people swore that it made the silent passages cleaner and crisper.
Amplitube. "Amplitube Max" came free with my interface, promising the guitar tone of all the gods. Turns out that you need to buy more products to get all of the plugins that are necessary to use with said guitar gods' presets, which I'm not about to do. I already have Kazrog Thermionik Suite so Amplitube is just a waste of bits.
A plug in is only as good or bad is the idiot using it.
Wot say you wooogish?
Do you mean "as the idiot"?
"Is" for myself, I actually use NO plugins. Period. No eq's, compressors, reverbs, echos; delays, or anything else. Nada........
I use my out board gear
a Sony s777
UREI/UNIVERSAL AUDIO 1176
TUBE-TECH CL1B
ROLAND SPACE ECHO
dbx iEQ-31
Elysia xfilter 500
Chandler Limited Curve Bender
Dbx 160
SDD-320 Dimension D
Moogerfooger Cluster Flux
RCA BA-6A
and so on........
The first one I built when I was trying to learn scripting. It has one slider, which raises and lowers the gain on band #3 of ReaEq.
I'm thinking of bundling it into Reapack.
Or maybe I should charge for it.
Behold, the "InYourFace-ifier" Put a nice bitmapped GUI on it with a close shot of a mouth shouting into a microphone (if the photo model had really bad teeth, that would be a plus) and a single 3D knob in the shape of a decomposing skull, labeled "Aggression Level."

Had that cocked and locked dincha? Well trolled sir, well trolled.
Sampletank 4/Miroslav Philharmonik. Despite having a computer well in excess of spec I can't seem to get ST4 to run reliably. Soo frustrating to have any instrument I could ever need but it just doesn't quite run right. Miroslav I got on the strength of a SOS review that if nothing else presented it as pro grade, I've been super unimpressed (as well as having the same issues running it as you might expect) and prefer Paul Battersby's cheap (free) and cheerful VPO. I know, there's objectively better budget options out there but Paul came through for me in a pinch so very happy to say so.

If one suddenly find themselves with a whole heap of "useless" plugins (read: moved to Linux and have many great plugins sat on an equally "useless" iLok) where is the best place to offer them for sale?
