Default "alt tab" through Reaper windows.

Maybe this exists and I can't find it but...

Is there an action to let me "alt tab" through difference reaper windows?

For example, I have the midi editor floated, and a number of effects windows are buried behind it. Can I somehow alt-tab to bring them to the front?

ALT+TAB in Windows works at the process level, not the individual process window level AFAIK.

Right, I was just wondering if there was a way to make Reaper do the same thing within itself, like an action, or Reascript. It wouldn't need to use Alt-Tab - maybe some other key combo.

Gotcha, I don't know off the top of my head but can't check right now.

SWS actions such as:

SWS/S&M: Cycle focused window
SWS/S&M: Focus next/previous window

may do the trick.

(These are only available in Windows, though, if I am not mistaken.)

Ok, that did it! I should have tried SWS extensions!! I'm always shocked at the power of Reaper.

And btw, I love your scripts!
