Full/X Arkanoid JS game
One of my students Maciej Czekaj did simple JS Arkanoid game.
It does not any music effect, but it's a simple demonstration of GFX section.

This rocks. Now that crappy band you're stuck with recording will think you're hard at work in the control room... perfect.

This is unbelievable, thank you to Maciej Czeka for programming and Adam Fulara for teaching (and posting).
What an excellent proof of concept. If JS is capable of this, then why do all the JS effects have such a technical and uninspiring GUI?

That's neat - I actually started working on a JS Arkanoid game a long time ago for fun (I think I was going to call it "JS Arpanoid" ), but I never did finish it. Nice job!

GUI programming in JS is kinda awkward and tedious. Just doing graphics is easy enough but to do a full GUI you have to track mouse clicks/position and cross-reference against the coordinates of graphical entities. In short, it's just no fun at all.

We started to work on new, music, much more advanced and interesting project, so at the moment "music" version of Arkanoid is delayed. Sorry. But we hope to share with you with our new software works.

If you want to make it musical, you could make the blocks send out MIDI note #s so they could be triggered by a VSTi of some sort.
Maybe even restrict the note #s to specific scales..haha
