My song Pirates updated.
Having waited a year for my cousin (Martin from Streely Electronics) to add mellotron to this track only to find he's so busy servicing, building and selling new ones he has no time to play them I decided to do it myself. I used Tapetronics samples. The original is on Bandcamp but here is the new version.

I like this.
At 1.30 the vocals have to be tamed or rerecorded. It ruin the whole experience.
Oter than that, a nice mix.

Hi Mik sorry no can do, all the tracks were lost in a major computer crash some time ago. Virtually all my recordings were wiped out including those that were backed up on outboard drives, they were online and got trashed as well. It might be possible to filter some of the centre image but I don't know how to do that. It is what it is. Glad you like it though. I'm trying to write but can't seem to get going at the moment.

Ah looks very nice. I have an old studio mate who buggered off to Perth just as we were getting to the telepathic muso stage. (Something I said?) I won't ask you to pop round and say hello!

Very nice Barry! I've always loved the sound of Mellotrons. The real ones required the players to develop a "spider walk" method of playing since the tapes had to rewind, and you didn't want them all rewinding at the same time.

Yep I had no need to anticipate the tape loop delay but I did do some work on the midi editor to hopefully simulate it a little.

Oooh, I like this. Real shame about the short bits of over-modulation, but I wouldn't say it ruins the whole experience for me. Love the mellow feel.

Cheers. I have most of the tracks now but not all and don't think I can improve on this so it stays.
