Default ReaTune Features

1. Don't change the window range when in auto correction mode so fast. Seems to track the pitches too much initially.

Solution: Overscale the window by adding a buffer to the range(e.g., if the input range of pitches is an octave, do and octave and a half so any new notes within that range won't cause a shift.

Not a big problem but thought I'd mention it.

2. In manual correction, vertical lines are shown and horizontal lines are too thin.

a. If the slope of the line being plotted is large(near infinity) then don't plot it or use an alpha so it does not get in the way of pitch analysis. Or, connect all notes by "vertical" lines. The problem I'm having is that some lines are connect and some are not yet they are all the same length and just different pitch. Looks ugly.

b. If the slope is nearly horizontal for a significant length of time(1/2 a second) then use a thicker width line. Specially if it is on a proper pitch(e.g., corresponds to concert pitch or whatever the pitch standard is).

3. Clear - In manual correction, while playing back, it would be nice if clear only cleared what was after the playback cursor. if one wants to clear everything then just clear before playback. (or say double click on the button causes a full clear)

Yes, yes, but relating to the way the pitch is displayed
I have another suggestion. Currently it looks like this:

But this look would be better:

These yellow blobs can be:

-- pitched
-- formant pitched only
-- vibrato set
-- internal drift pitched

And - of course - they can be splitted and moved horizontally (though
these both can be done in the normal arrange-view also).

Yes exactly. One purpose is to achieve the typical "autotune sound"
which is strangely artificial.

Another purpose is the slight and not noticeable correction
of vocals or instruments. All the dramas about "ARA2" + "Melodyne"
concentrate on this kind of corrections.

And that is the point here: ReaTune only needs a few improvements
to catch up with Melodyne.
