That's a weird question to ask - I thought everybody knew that Reaper started off as a software Encabulator clone because Rockwell jacked up the prices on their modules.

This is ridiculous, 4th generation and they STILL HAVE NOT addressed the girdle spring wear when operating frequently in third phase detraction. I'm not looking to replace parts every two years while they pump out new models and expect me to upgrade. Not even going to get into the software crashes when I switch to tri modal reflux detection. WHY PROVIDE A FEATURE THAT WORKS ARBITRARILY!!

I'm hoping they'll try & licence some of those plugins from Clive Dice at Satan City SoundSound - Woody Brown swears by them

Reaper 6.0 will surely not only have an encabulator, but a deluxe retro turbo encabulator. (I am a former employee of Rockwell)

Right from the outset Reaper has been sorely lacking a mandatory Rockwell USB iLook Cock-OS dongle.

I started using Pro Tools because Reaper lacked that feature...

I have it on good authority that not only will REAPER 6 have embedded encabulator technology, it will actually be built around version two of the Turbo Encabulator as described in the video below.

Version two will offer a serious improvement in REAPER over version one due to its superior ability to detect sinusoidal deplenaration via the unilateral phase detractor matrix before it causes any latency problems.

The main advantage of using version two of the Turbo Encabulator is that unlike the first version, there's no pre-famulated amulite base plate to wear out so side fumbling can be completely avoided.
Also, REAPER being as efficient as it is, will be able to capitalize on the superior performance of the six hydrocoptic marzlevanes fitted to the ambifacient lunar waneshaft of the Turbo Encabulator version two with 2.01 firmware.

I have noticed that with music in the dorian mode Reaper tends to act like there is a slight Phrygian dominant bias, these modial interactions need to be addressed!

On the other hand, it used to be logarithmic volume scaling was adjustable, almost malleable one might say, so that's better.

Looking forward to the midi USB output being automatically synchronizable in Turbo Reaper, but I'm reluctant about the magnetic tape sim addition on the mix buss not being switchable, and I think modeling capacitor low pass curves detracts from the sound as well, this needs to be optional!

I need marzlevanes. Must have marzlevanes...

Don't know what they are, but they sound incredible.

You really need the hydrocoptic marzlevanes. Standard ones won't work with REAPER at all.

I understand the OP concern, but I'm afraid that the encabulator technology will shows incompatibility with the anticipative render one. This, without talking of Reaper UI : will it fit with the MIDI spectral display as it is ? I doubt it...

An added requirement also arise when using the encabulator technology, unless using the 2.01 version and its hydrocoptic marzlevanes which are bundled with it, as ReaDave rightly point it : the unilateral phase detractor matrix will also need to smoothly manage both the sinusoidal deplanaration and the subitem fragrance lanes, which are presently only a hidden feature.

So, I don't expect it to be implemented sooner than Reaper 6.319, at least, and if ever. Let's see to which point Cockos dev crew will be able to implement all this, without too much hassle.
