Default Any way to change midi channel of a device in Reaper?

I've just set up my Midi Fighter Twister and received my Launchpad Mini, when I realized that you can't change midi channels of the Launchpad mini. Now I could remap my Midi Fighter, but it took a fairly long time to set it all up, so I'd rather change my launchpad instead. Is there any way to change channel 1 to something else for just that device?

In the Track Input: MIDI menu, there's also a Map input to channel option besides selecting which MIDI Input (device) is used as Track Input: https://forum.cockos.com/attachment....8&d=1462033494

Another option would be to insert a MIDI Plugin for the in/output channel mapping (either as Input FX or as first plugin in the Track FX chain). As example, something like JS: MIDI Tool (v1 or v2) or JS:MIDI Router/Transpose.

Thanks for your response. I realized that the launchpad sends out notes and not CC,so there wasn't actually an overlap between the MFT. That said I don't think your method would have worked, since I want to use the LP as a shortcut board.

Well, I guess the lesson is never map your hardware for channel 1 if other options are available.

Ah, I see. I didn't know this detail from your first post.

Yeah, in such a case you'll usually need the help of an external tool like, for instance, MIDI-OX to do the MIDI IN/OUT Channel mapping: Launchpad > MIDI-OX > Reaper

Yeah, I should have mentioned that.

Thanks, might come in handy some day. I've only stumbled across Bome which overpriced for my needs.

Thanks for the help
