Problem with Lynx Asio Driver using Lynx AES 16 Card

Firstly Reaper was working fine for over a year on my computer. The other day I was working and I closed Reaper & left the studio for a shot time without turning off computer and when I returned and reopened Reaper I got an error message
Saying
There was an error while opening your audio hardware:
Error Loading ASIO driver
When looking at the audio device configuration I see the Lynx card but there are no inputs or outputs in the drop down menu.
I Have Pro Tools and SAWStudio on the same machine and both of them see all 16 I/Os and play fine.
I have uninstalled and installed Reaper and still have the same problem.
One thing I noticed if a session is open in Reaper and I close uninstall and re install Reaper when opening Reaper the same session comes up which kind of tells me that not all of Reaper is removed when uninstalling.
Can anybody help me?
