Default REAPER and Melodyne

I can't seem to get REAPER to communicate with Melodyne 3 Uno
Is rearoute REAPER's solution to Rewire?

Anyone get these two working together?
Melodyne is suppose to be able to work as either a rewire softsynth, a VST effect or a DXi - none of which seem to be working yet in reaper. To be quite fair, rewire was the only thing that worked with Acid 6 - DXi's aren't supported (dumb) and it wouldn't work as a VST effect

It's really a shame that propellorhead is so slow at getting you the rewire sdk (as per your website) - it would be great to be able to hook up that way to, say, FL studio, Acid, Live, Reason .. etc etc or is this all possible with rearoute and I'm missing something completely ... ?

Melodyne Uno only runs seperate or with rewire.
Haven´t tested it with rearoute yet. Don´t know about sync options.
So no vst or Dx, you need the large version for that

ahh ...
a friend of mine shelled out the 600 some bucks for the full pop - it worked well with cubase, but didn't play with acid at all (or acid didn't play with it as the case usually is)

thanks for the info

I think I need to just start melodyne in standalone mode, and use the rearoute drivers, it should work ...

Default cre8 and studio work

I can confirm that cre8 (and I assume studio) will work with the melodynebridge. This is using 1.11 of Reaper and 3.1.1.2 of Melodyne. I've found that the pertinant preferences are to make sure that the melodynebridge track is record enabled, monitoring and that the audio device and media are set to stay online even when Reaper is not the selected application. Seems to work quite smoothly though.
