Samples From Mars has this yearly insane discount of their entire stock for an unbelievable price. They are a sample shop that specializes in SFZ samples. They will be announcing their year discount in 7 Days, 8 Hours, and 5 Minutes. (They have a count-down clock on their webpage). I don't yet know what this year's deal will be, but in the past there have been purchase codes to get everything in the store for insane sums like $9, $39, $29, etc... I'm talking about around 50 GIGABYTES of mapped and playable multisamples!!! Hundreds of patches of drums, synths, etc. It has been probably 3-4 years since I purchased last, so I'll be watching this one to get caught back up. If anyone has been wanting a rompler of sampled instruments, this purchase and Sfizz or LinuxSampler will do you well!

Note: The countdown doesn't show up on the main page. You have to see it on the All Products page:

Apparently, we missed Groovemonkee's 50% off "Black Friday Now" sale.....

https://groovemonkee.com/blogs/news

There are lots of great MIDI drum packs in multiple formats, including General Midi. It's strange that it ended so soon.... :-(

I don't know how long it's been going on or how long it will stay, but there is a sale going on for all products by Auburn Sounds. The normal price on each app is slashed out and a cheaper price is in place.

Hmmm.

Other Desert Cities works fine on my Ubuntu 20.04 system.

EOS2 will sometimes freeze when I first open a project, but otherwise, it works and sounds great.

I've heard that elsewhere about Audio Damage. And I did have a hard time finding any contact email address on their site. But in their defense, they did respond back to me when I contacted them.

I suspect their business model primarily focuses on supporting the "paying" customers, while allowing their web site and youtube videos to handle the majority of the sales queries. I believe it is a two man team (maybe only one man). They may run their business this way to allow for more coding time and less distractions. I don't think they are a bad company. I like that they support Linux.

When you purchased, did you receive (in any of your documentation or purchasing materials) a support email address? I suspect they probably give it to you as part of the purchase. Try contacting them and see if they can offer any suggestions. If you can't find the email address, PM me and I will look it up for you. :-)

The email is at the bottom of the support page. Took me about 30 seconds to find it.

Yeah I think so. It asks you for the purchase email address and unlocks. There is an offline activation as well but I didn't try that.

The free Blacksun amp sounds pretty nice and has some good clean tones (I've struggled with some of their amps for clean sounds before).

Amazon's Fire HD10 32 gig model is being sold most places like
Amazon, Best Buy, Target etc for $75

It is ad-subsidized, but for $15, Amazon will shut that all down,
so $90 for a 10" 1080P tablet.

It's also easy to get the google playstore installed, for
standard android apps. No rooting needed. Got one for my wife, and the battery life is good, the virtual keyboard is well laid out, the sound and video are good, and there is a headphone jack.

As for reg, a free amazon account is needed, have your wireless device account password handy to get connected, plus email and cellphone to receive one-time email and text-message passwords, to confirm the setup. Similar spec i-pads are $320 and up.

Guitar Center has 3-packs of Ernie Ball strings for $14,
slinkies for electrics, and standard style wound for acoustics,
which = buy 2 get one free.
Cheers

I sent one detailed email stating my problem, they released an update soon after but it's still a no go for me. They did not come back to me. It's been 1 month already.

Groovemonkee has the mappings for SSD5.5 so if you're using it through Yabridge, all you need to do is copy the midi grooves to the library folder and they'll appear in SSD5.5 !!!

Tried it and they worked, specially with drag and drop!!.
