I have provided instructions for doing both the things you ask
If you're wondering why I don't just do it myself, let me clarify that I'm not going to be keeping on top of updates to a theme build that's only there as an example, I think my time would be better spent making more images for more choice. I hope that makes sense.

You are absolutely right. I´ve done some mods opening the ReaperThemeZip file and replacing some images here and there, but I´m too far from doing an in deep modding. I hope I can reach someone willing to make a mod for me, of course paying for that job. Thanks.

White Tie, you really did a great job on these modders supplies. You are giving us some nice choices.
I ended up going with my own Route icons as I am not fond of the yellow (warning) and the word Route is distracting to me.
While I love the flower volume, it's a bit small for my old eyes as is the tooltip and I wonder if Reaper devs might consider making it able to enlarge on use including the tooltip as below. Just an idea. Thanks again. These are really beautiful.

Wow, what a nice idea! It would be cool to make knobs/sliders bigger while tweaking.

So I shall be providing some as time and inclination allows; all in 100%, 150% and 200%, all at exact sizes so you can just swap them into the default theme with no messing about with WALTER.

These elements look so great. The pan knob, while more abstract, is a lot easier for my eyes to read at a glance. The default knob is too bright for me, and the line too thin.
I've taken it upon myself to use your pre-built example theme as my new default theme, with a few minor tweaks (e.g. the selected track background highlight was not working).
If it were up to me, I'd use this style as the basis for the default Reaper theme.
You're one talented UI designer.

Flanurette made this PSD file with everything laid out and I want to know if there's one like this availaible for version 6. I don't know how to work with the images posted in this thread.
Thanks.

Sorry, how do I get access to this pack? Is there a file for me to download here? I don't know where that is.

Works for me. Maybe your internet provider blocks the site?

A little nit pic here for you WT.
The rate nob as the colour not only on the knob but around it. This on hi-res / retina monitors. It works like it should on regular screens.

If you're into editing the theme, you could replace the transport_knob_bg_large.png image inside the 200 folder with the same one from the regular Default 6 theme.

Ok, I like everything I saw and all but I have this nagging confusion about how to download the latest and greatest version.
The latest link I found was for version ~0500 but apparently, the latest release is ~1100 something.
Is it part of ReaPack or SWS extensions?
Will it be?
I am wondering if there is a nice constant (public) GitHub repo and the associated link I (we) can use to download or fork from.
In either of those cases keeping up with the updates will be very useful.
Looking forward to hearing from you guys!

usage query (6.79 portable)
I downloaded the link
have a white interface, presumably as no icons and resources
I unblocked the downloaded zip and renamed to reaperthemezip
Think I'm missing a few things, like resources, and understanding if this is of use to me...
help! thanks!

Its not a ReaperThemeZip, its not a theme. This isn't what you want.
Use WT Theme Assembler Script.
