Default Another Protest Song

This is the second protest song I wrote a while back, the first being Down The Drain which was previously posted here. Anyway, to refresh, I read a story where Sheryl Crow said nobody writes protest songs anymore so I wrote these 2.

All instruments and vocals by me except drums by my friend, Rami.

I'd appreciate any comments you have.

Don't Blame It On Me(-24bit Wave)

good song and mix except the lows are waay too hot, my desk is vibrating, drop the lows by like -12 dB
the vocal ending where the instruments have stopped sounds great
just my opinion

Sounds good to me, that sounds like a good recipe to make it sound cellphone speaker tinny.

Thanks, superblonde! It looks pretty good on SPAN so I think I'll leave it alone. I appreciate the comments and the listen!

Thanks, zeekat! I'll give it a listen on my cell and see how it sounds but I'm not inclined to make any drastic changes.

I think zeekat was responding to superblonde. I don't think zeekat was suggesting making any changes if I read it right.

This is RAMI by the way. I just joined the forum, this is my first post. Looking forward to meeting new people here. I enjoyed playing drums on this, Jeff. Hoping to do more with you.

Yeah, I think Superblonde's suggestion is oddly radical, because Jeff's mix is very balanced, nowhere close to bass-heavy and attenuating the lows that much would pretty much gut it.

It's always a pleasure to work with you, Rami. I have NEVER been disappointed with any of the tracks I get from you. It's like you can read my mind, you know, it's like you're psycho! Yeah, that's it!

Now post one of yours so these good people here can see just how talented you really are!

Thanx Jeff. we'll do more together.

As far as posting my own stuff, I'm going to wait until I've got a few more posts under my belt. Nobody likes the new guy that starts posting their music before becoming part of the community. It feels a little spammy.

Nice outro!!!!!!
I'm not a country dude, but I can hear the quality.
Listen on phones I hear no excessive lows, my head didn't vibrate
Great work!

Thank you, Sir! Did this sound country to you? I never would have put it in that category, but that's just me.
