Default computer keyboard stop working if press space to play

hey...my windows computer keyboard in reaper(5.941) stop working if i have a vst open and press space to play ..i can open a empty project and press space and then go back to the project and it works again ... but this solution also crashes and quit reaper,not always often..
how can i fix it?

Don't press space so hard that the keyboard crashes (Maybe you can use some glue to fix it.)

BTW.: I have been teasing because there was no explanation why this is supposed to be a bug of Reaper's (see the usage terms of this subforum -> https://forum.cockos.com/showthread.php?t=36653)

If there is a reason to believe this, please to give it. If not the "general" forum would be a more appropriate place, if you can't solve the problem.
