Default Show/hide fx docker, keep tab?

I'd like to hide this fx docker:

But keep this docker visible:

And leave this tab visible, so I can right-click and show it from a menu:

Is this doable?

As far as I know, it's not possible to just leave the little FX Browser Tab visible (and minimzing the rest of the FX Browser window).

But you can assign a Keyboard Shortcut, custom menu entry or Toolbar Icon to the Action View: Show FX browser window to show/hide the FX Browser this way.

Hallo-yes,well you can get what you want, but there are steps involved and will not 'stay' as a tiny tab-- you have to keep manipulating that- the smallest i've found is a box 3/4 size of the scale finder, but it can be transparent +floating always on top.
I think you need to set some other options to have no frames and allow toolbar icons to scale below 1.

This little box can be set to 1 side or w/e-kinda neat. =)

*oops-edit* Btw-this is using the toolbar docker with just 2 tabs-it can be hotkeyed,rea_scaled and moved around screen with 2nd tab ok.

Thanks for the tips! It would be nice if there was an extension or option to add a menu to the tab to show/hide and keep just the tab, I might FR it 😉
