If you like to edit low frequencies
Go to peak display setting and change freq log to 10

Aye - and don't forget you can right click to choose the FFT size per edit as well.

Awesome update, many thanks to the devs!

Thanks. I did change the log to 10 but there still isn't much real estate down there, and there isn't an option to hold shift so doing detailed low frequency work is not really that ideal. It goes from 0Hz to 200Hz very quickly with little detail.

On a vocal, or guitar, it might be fine but for doing mastering work on a stereo mix, you have to be very careful as to not take out so much low end that you can hear it in the mix.

I do this a lot in RX because you can get detailed down low but REAPER seems to be not as defined down there.

Typing our own values would be nice too.

Yea it would be better to add zoom option, something like inline midi editor zoom at the top.

You should spend some time with both before you make that decision.

It's awesome that Reaper has spectral editing, but Izotope RX is still vastly superior... for now.

Not an either or since the Reaper version is "free" included in the DAW!

P.S. Dont know what I am doing wrong, but I have had a lot of niggling issues with my Izotope plugs crashing reapers FX rescan routing...
I suppose I should go have a whine at them

Almost forgot! A huge thanks to the dev for the latest toys. A memorable update indeed.

Thanks to the developers for their hard and patient work, to the beta testers finding all that strange situations were bugs occur and the AI lovers reviewing and making useful suggestions. Looking forward to new horizons of workflow!

Outstanding stuff but Please add marquee select to the spectrogram editor!!! Click drag area select would be a thousand times faster than the current system.

Well none of the SWS envelope/point actions seem to work on AIs, and AIs are not restored correctly using SWS Snapshots. Hopefully someone is working on that.

Dear devs,

currently the AIs get an ongoing number as new name. Maybe something more meaningful would help to navigate and keep the overview in big arrangements. Or behind the number / name (in brackets) the track name and parameter name?!

But my real question is: with some themes (I believe it depends on the media item font choosen) the letters lie a little bit too far down so the descent area (not sure it's the right wording) get's cut off. Letters like p, q, f, g, j. It would be cool when you can tweak it so everything sits tight. AFAIK this part isn't theme-able so you are the only gods who might fix this. Thanks in advance.

The devs had 5.50 ready for official release than did some last minute refinements. After 5.50 came 5.50a to 5.50c.
So the 'c' is just to distinct from the original 5.50 afaik.
