Default How to Freeze ambisonic track ?

I have 3 tracks of first order ambisonic, each put through an ambisonic encoder, summed in the master and decoded into binaural. When i freeze one of the tracks, I get 16 channels as a result, while first order ambisonics is 4 channels. Additionally the 16 channels only have 4 with audio while everything else is blank. Also, the frozen track sounds nothing like the non frozen track. It's as though it isn't encoded into FOA.

How should the track be frozen when mixing ambisonic material?

Have you verified that the track's channels are set to "4"?

Anyway, don't forget that 1st order ambisonics means a VERY LOW spatial quality even for binaural processing.
3rd order (16 channels) is now considered as a minimum value unless the diffusion does not support it, but in this case it is easy to reduce it at the end.
