podolski synth not recognized
I've tried the 32 and 64 bit versions and Reaper doesn't seem to recognize this promising looking synth. Anyone using this with Reaper? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It works great here in both Reaper 32- and 64-bit. Both the AUi and VSTi versions of it work fine on MacOS. I assume it works just as well on Windows. Is Reaper not finding it? You will want to check the installation path for Podolski and you may have to force Reaper to rescan its VSTs. See Preferences/Plug-ins/VST/.

Look for the VSTi in your reaper-vstplugins.ini file (clickl [Options] and select "Show Reaper resource path ..." to get to the containing folder)
Does its entry look like the others or is it short? If short, then Reaper found a problem when scanning it.
If not there, Reaper did not scan it.

Podolski doesn't work for me either. Reaper hung while scanning VST's during loading the first time. Now it just ignores it. All other u-he plugins are fine - Bazille, Ace, TyrellN6.
Podolski v1.2 32 or 64bit
Reaper v4.402 32bit
Windows8 64bit

Tried installing 64 bit a couple times in different places. Reaper never showed a hint of recognizing it. Deleted it and installed 32 bit. That one works. No problems with 64 bit Zebra and it's associates. Bazille's good too. Win7 Reaper 64.

Got it working
Thanks guys for all your replies. Much appreciated. I got it working on Reaper (32 bit) but not really sure why. I just uninstalled it as instructed and reinstalled it. Works great now with Win 7 (64 bit).
Here's my folders, in case this helps with anyone who can't get it going.
C:\Program Files (x86)\REAPER\Plugins\VSTPlugins\
C:\Users\Public\Documents\u-he\
(I didn't bother with the 64 bit version cos it's not working).

Working fine here, Win 7 Ultimate 64-bit, both 64 and 32-bit Reaper just a few days old at version 4.33 ;-) Both Podolski(x64).dll and Podolski.dll in the same directory (I never segregated my 64-bit plugins) and I guess they both use the Podolski.data subdirectory.
I got pics too! "Doll Sky" 100% Podolski in Reaper, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mZ1ErmCa1A8

Yeah, I got it going in 64 bit Reaper too. Just had to dedicate the plugins, clear cache, rescan and (to be sure) restart. Duh... I shoulda thought of that. Thanks for your post. Got me thinking...
