Recording problem

Hey all!

I am new here so please dont hate me

I Just bought the Steinberg ur12 interface.

All is set up properly but when i want to record stuff, reaper records everything from my computer, including the metronome.

Is there a way to use the interface as the monitor for monitoring and recording just what i play?

maybe you are using some sort of loopback mode - either due to selecting it with your WASAPI driver or as a function of your particular interface
