Default Action : Set Selected Item(s) Left Edge To Cursor

Recently the action for setting the item end to cursor was added, I like that a lot. Why not also the one in the thread title?

ok, but...
do you want it to expand the item to the cursor, or relocate/move the item(s) to the cursor?

++1 vote for relocate... a snap item start to cursor for me.

Both would be useful, as separate actions!

OK another question...
for the expand Item start to cursor (the grow one, not the move one) Should it expand like a regular resize, leaving the loop point at the original position? Or should it expand and shift the contents such that the start of the item moves too?

|..............---------- becomes:
|-------------------- or:
|---------^---------- ?

cheers

I'm thinking more in the lines of the regular mouse resize that leaves the loop point intact...

so then this:
|..............---------- becomes:

|---------^----------

that is cool, but i still gotta give a ++1 to the snap item start to cursor idea.

Yes, I think that is actually a pretty essential action to be had! Would allow for fast syncing of percussive hits to cursor etc...
